Isn’t this a sight? Our hogs make such pretty bacon, I must say. And we are about to have a lot more of it in our freezer. Yesterday was slaughter day for our 5 hogs we raised this year, 2 of those will go in our freezer and the rest were sold. Pig-loading-day overlapped with ship-our-son-off-to-boot-camp-day this year. It was a hard day all around. But bacon makes it better!
