Featuring Mia

This little lady was born here over 2 years ago. She’s half angus so we planned to raise her for beef until she popped out a surprise calf a month before her slaughter date. We finally sold her calf at a year old, which she was still nursing, along with the other 2 yearling calves here. She still nurses on her own mom when Molly cooperates. I’ve been hand milking her all winter, she’s pretty quiet and easy to work with. She’s had a good life here, and isn’t she pretty for a backyard cow?
